Getting Started
Create your own unique t-shirt design for JDRF!
Keep in mind these key points:
- Incorporation of JDRF's mission, which is accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.
- Creativity – Be expressive, unique, and make a statement!
Additional design guidelines include:
- Front of Shirt: Your creative design will be included on the FRONT of the t-shirt with a 14" x 14" canvas to support your unique creation. [300 dpi (hi-resolution) with preferred file types: jpg, png, gif, bmp, ai, psd, pdf, eps]
- We recommend a design suited for a white or light-grey apparel to enhance visibility. You may also consider using royal blue, red, or black apparel (aligned with colors found in the campaign logos)
- Campaign logos are also available for download, should you choose to incorporate into your creative design (click the 'Download' button below)
- Back of Shirt: the BACK of the t-shirt will include the T1D, Motorcraft & Me 2017 campaign design (cannot be altered for the contest)

For the last nine years, Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing has raised more than $400,000 for JDRF, the leading global organization funding T1D research. This year, Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing are teaming up with JDRF to present the T1D, Motorcraft & Me T-Shirt Design Contest.
T1D, Motorcraft & Me T-Shirt Design Contest
- A minimum donation of $10 from each custom apparel sale will go directly to JDRF.
- The contest is a fun and hassle-free opportunity to engage families, JDRF One Walk and Ride teams to create their unique team shirts and while raising funds to support a cure.
- Follow the quick-and-easy steps above to create your masterpiece and once the design has been approved by our dedicated GTM Sportswear experts, you may share your unique TeamStore webpage link with all of your friends and family, so they can support a cure by purchasing your exclusive apparel.

On September 1, 2017 – Our JDRF and Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing Panel will select one winner for 'Best Design 2017' and the victor will be awarded a VIP Motorcraft Racing Experience of a Lifetime!
- This racing-themed travel package will send our winner plus three guests to the Monster Energy NASCAR Series Championship in Miami, Florida in November, 2017 to cheer on Ryan Blaney in the #21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane car as he takes the wheel contending for the Championship.
- The winner and guests will also have an exclusive opportunity to meet driver Ryan Blaney and serve as honorary pit crew members for the #21 race car and the legendary Wood Brothers Racing Team.
- Additionally, the winning design will also be prominently featured on the race car during the 2017 NASCAR Championship Race. The winning shirt design will also be used as the "official" shirt for 2017, and will be available for purchase through November, 2017.
- Although the contest concludes on August 31st, you may continue to design and purchase your unique JDRF apparel through November 30, 2017.
The VIP Motorcraft Racing Experience of a Lifetime includes:
- Round-trip airfare for four to Miami, FL
- Three nights' hotel accommodations
- Honorary pit crew status for the #21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion with exclusive team, driver and track access
- Tickets to the Ford EcoBoost 400 on Nov. 19, which will decide the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Series champion
- A Visa gift card for meals and car rental
- Motorcraft autograph and apparel package
- Design to be featured on the #21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion
- Winning shirt design will also be used as the "official" 2017 T1D Motorcraft & Me shirt design
- Winner will receive a 1099 tax form for prize value and will be responsible for applicable taxes.
